BUD SIMMONS
Bud will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 53 years, Lynne; and his two daughters, Danielle Viegas (Mario), and Natalie Simmons. Bud will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren, Anthony and Lynne Viegas; sister-in-law Suzanne Goebel; and brother-in-law Bernard (Janine) Goebel.
Bud was a very special man with a heart of gold, and will truly be missed by many. He could play a mean "Moonlight Sonata", and there wasn't a dog out there that didn't like him. He was a very well-respected massage therapist, and there were many other occupations prior which he was very successful at. He was a man of many trades.
Viewing and time of gathering will be held on Monday, March 9, 2020, at 7:00 p.m. at Desjardins Funeral Home, 357 DesMeurons Street. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, March 16, 2020, at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 252 Dubuc Street.
Donations in Bud's memory can be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB R3T 0R3.
