Condolences & Memories (6 entries)

  • Thinking of you Scott especially this week as it would be your 40th Birthday on Saturday the 22nd of August. I am sure you will be singing with your Grand parents, Uncles and Aunties, something we are limited to right now. You are so missed. - Posted by: Bebe Buckingham (Family Friend) on: Aug 21, 2020

  • Scott Greig. AKA kill0byte. A kind-hearted soul with a lot of turbulence in life. Dialysis. DIabetes. He was a mastermind of the creativeness. He brought always out the full no matter what. We spoke a few times and then he began streaming. I visited his channel and we spoke more. I began to know him better. Not by much, but I knew with a sort of sixth sense he was the kind of person you'd want on your side no matter what. And I found out he made videos. Introduction videos. Websites. You asked, he delivered. Top-Notch. Every single time. Why? Cause he wanted to provide. A rare beacon of light he was. And still is. Cause the many memories of everyone who has interacted with him, in-person or via the digital net lives and carries on. Was one day he approached me, asking for various clips of ArvanEleron's from his twitch channel and his Pen & Pixels eps on GOGcom Twitch. I supplied and he came up with such an amazing video, I can literally hear kill0byte every single time I see it. But then, I can hear him in every single video he has made that I see on a regular basis at ArvanEleron's channel. To not know somebody physically and via the digital net, doesn't mean a great personal bond can be created. My bond with kill0byte is one bond I intend to carry on with others. To provide. To council. And as Scott was doing.. Fight the problem. So will I. While I will always feel there is a byte hovering near me, watching over me and sharing his view of the world and his creative mind, so that I can share it through me to the world. Scott, I miss you. My good friend. May you provide guidance and sound counselling from the blue heaven and beyond. To infinity and beyond. “What we do for ourselves dies with us. What we do for others and the world remains and is immortal.” Scott defines this quote by Albert Pike. Because of what he did. May the Echoes of your true Alpha of creativeness spread times five. - Echo - Posted by: Elias Askim (Good Friend) on: May 23, 2020

  • So very sorry to hear of Scott's passing. I remember him running around Knox church in his kilt, wee face beaming. Seems like yesterday. Please accept Greg, Em, Steph, and my sincere condolences. - Posted by: Eileen Findlay (Friend) on: Mar 07, 2020

  • Scott had a heart of gold. He would do anything to help his friends/family. Scott was always able to make me laugh even at the worst times. I am going to miss our conversations, our coffee dates, and how even now that your gone you had a way of bringing people together. Scott loved not only his friends but his family so much. He was our teddy bear, always had a listening ear and never sugar coated anything. Miss you so much. You will be in the hearts of many forever. - Posted by: Krista Leonard (Friend ) on: Mar 07, 2020
