ALEXIS MARY MARTIN
She began her life in Gillam, MB. Her formative years were spent in Steinbach. It was there she discovered her love for dancing. She received a soul expanding education fuelled by a passion for her love of Jesus Christ.
Her teen years were spent in St. Pierre-Jolys. Continuing her dance she discovered music with a violin. Although she suffered a lengthy ten year illness, she faced it with such strength and energy. She was always known for her bright smile and beautiful eyes.
She is survived by her mother Robynne (Rheal) and father Gorden (Vivian), three brothers, Pheonix, Aiden and Max. She will be missed by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Lexi, we know your two sets of grandparents were expecting you at heaven's gate. We will see you again on that beautiful shore and there will be no more suffering there.
We love you and cannot wait to go shopping with you again. Dance before the Lord, and praise His name forever.
A funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB.

I amshocked to find out my beloved friend Alexis had passed I have never felt so much sadness and I extend my thank you to my supports and contact with the family. Her light and amazing personality and love for life as well for certain her love for her family was clearly evident as she always spoke of her love for her family. We had great times and I will forever cherish the Alexis I knew. Funny, smart, energetic and very loving as well a light to anyone she ever met. It’s an honor to call Alexis Martin a friend. Although my dear friend Alexis left this world way too soon her memories and my love for her will forever be held in my heart. My condolences a heartfelt sadness goes to her family but in times of sadness let us remember Alexis for her pure love for life and that she no longer feels pain as her memory lives in our hearts. It is with profound sadness that we received the message of the passing of such a young lady. It was such a short time ago that she lost her grandparents. Our hearts ache for her mother Robynne and her family. It is such a tragedy. May God's Grace surround you and bring you comfort. - Posted by: Shirley Berrington & Bev Berrington ( Aunt & Uncle) on: Mar 10, 2020
