WALLACE ANDERSON
He is survived by his children, Brenda (Warren), Dale (Rae), Cynthia (Charles), Diana (Norm), Dana (Cheryl) and Donald (Tammy); daughter-in-law Sandra; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, as well as his siblings, Andy, Bertha (Dawson) and Joan (Wayne).
Dad was born October 29, 1928 in Winnipeg.
He was predeceased by his mom Nanny and stepfather Magni; his wife May; son Lorne; siblings, Ingrid (Camille), Helen (Bill) and Lilly (Ernest), and sister-in-law Pat.
Dad drove a truck for Motorways and retired in 1992. He loved travelling and most holidays were road trips to visit relatives.
As per Dad's wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 12 with reception to follow. Those who wish can bring along a photo to share in a photo tribute at that time.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Dad's memory to Austin Museum or Heart & Stroke Foundation.
