MIKE POPOWICH
March 11, 1925 - March 4, 2020

After a life long lived, it is with loving memories and sad hearts we announce the passing of Mike, loving husband of the late Ann.
Mike was predeceased by his parents, as well as sisters and brothers, Nellie, John, Steve, Bill, Tom, Ann, Ellen, Dorothy, Nick and Andrew.
He is survived by son Lorne (Audrey); grandchildren, Allison (Rob), Todd (Evelyn), Kimberly (Keith) and Michael (Lindsay); eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Rose and Elizabeth, and brother Metro; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
As a member of the Ft. Garry Congregation of Jehovah's Witness, Mike's faith and confidence was in the Resurrection Hope, John 5:28 and 29 and Revelations 21:1-5.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 23, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard.
The family wishes to thank the kind and caring staff at Golden Links Lodge for the exceptional care of Dad/Geido.
