Dear Judy and family, I was so saddened to learn of the loss of your Bill. Words can't explain the grief that I feel for you. Cherish the memories that you have of him and always keep them close to your heart. The memories that I have of my childhood friend are still with me even to this day. I will not ever forget. I would share them all with You but there is not enough room on this page. Again please know that my heart is with You at this time of your mourning. I was very saddened to hear of Bill's passing. We grew up 7 houses apart on Armstrong Avenue, played together and went to school together in the same classroom until grade 7. Bill's father Tom was my father's best man when my parents were married so it was only natural the Martin kids were friends with the Wickens kids. Bill was a kind, fun loving friend when we were young and I know he grew up to have many more wonderful qualities than what I remember. My sincere condolences to his family and friends. I know he will always be loved and missed. I would have liked to attend his funeral service but I have a cold and due to current events think it prudent, just in case, to not be spreading germs around. I will be thinking about him. - Posted by: Dale Mitchell (Childhood friend and neighbor) on: Mar 14, 2020
