(nee ZIRK)
She was predeceased by her sons, Brian and Randal, her parents, Lydia and Louie, siblings, Albert, Raymond and Irma, and brother in-law Leonard.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 61 years, Robert. As well, she leaves her children, Wayne (Rosemarie), David (Jody), Rhea, and daughter-in-law Rhonda. She is survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She leaves her sister Alma (Ron), along with numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws.
Leona and Robert raised their family on the farm in Greenwald. She was the best mom anyone could ask for.
Many thanks to the staff at East Gate Lodge for their compassion and care.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 16 at 1:00 p.m. with viewing one hour prior to the service at Trinity Lutheran Church in Thalberg, MB. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, Thalberg, MB.
