Peacefully, with his wife Lila by his side, Victor Norman Moore passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2020, at Riverview Health Centre, at the age of 80.
A celebration of Vic's life will be held on Wednesday, March 18 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. Interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, for those who so desire, donations in Vic's memory may be made to Riverview Health Centre, Little People of Manitoba, 4 Lakepointe Road, Winnipeg, MB R3T 4R4, the Humane Society or a charity of your choice.
Lila would like to thank Riverview, 3E Palliative Care, for the exceptional care that Vic received. Also thank you to all the 1010 staff for their support during Vic's illness and since his passing.

Lila, sorry to hear the passing of Vic. My family were neighbours of Vic's when he moved into the house on Rosedale with his mother. I have wonderful memories of Vic, he was always a good, helpful friend & neighbour to my dad, mom & myself. His stories of his days as a professional wrestler aways amazed & made me laugh. Then Vic met you, the love of his life, Vic was the happiest man in the world the day he married you. As time went on, we parted ways with families growing & moving on. I know Vic will be missed. I always enjoyed working with Vic, his no nonsense approach to his job always made mine easier. We shared lots of laughs over the years and had some great conversations about everything. I remember hearing Victor's voice on the Manitoba Hydro radio before I had ever met him. His booming voice was that of a knowledgeable and in-charge man. When I later met him, I was convinced that I had met a person with a large personality and a good heart. He had a wonderful sense of humour. His commitment and hard work in everything he did was exemplary. I had the good fortune of attending a one week Manitoba Hydro supervisory school with Vic at the Seven Sisters town-site one year. It was one of the greatest experiences we had all participated in and a lot of it was due to Victor being Victor. Ruth and I loved to sit with Victor and Lila at functions where we met outside of Hydro as well as functions within Hydro. Our hearts are with you, Lila at this trying time.
