A memorial service will be held at the Ardal - Geysir Lutheran Church this summer, and she will be laid to rest at the Geysir Cemetery.

Blanche was a lovely lady who made my stay in Concordia Hospital much easier. We were roommates for quite awhile and we just enjoyed talking to each other and looking out the window, monitoring the daily weather. She shared easily and honestly. Because I had no children here her kids were real sweethearts too. I really enjoyed it when the kids came to visit and they let me be a temporary part of their whole family. I missed her when she was transferred to the other room but both Joe and I were able to go down and visit her. I was really really sorry to hear that she had passed away. She is in God's hands now and she will be pain free. Larry and I were saddened to read that your dear mom has passed. We always kept in touch at Christmas time but there was nothing this year.
