(WALKER)
She is lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her children, Doug (Donna), Murray (Kim) and Glenn (Brenda); grandchildren, Leah, Scott (Casey), Kristen, Jason (Cassie), Kyle and Tara (Les); great-grandchildren, Landon, Ethan, Peyton, Brady, Mickayla, Blake, Wade, Brody, Dylan, Madison, Parker, and foster grandchildren; sister Frances Brennen; sisters-in-law, Betty (Jim) and Bev (George); brothers-in-law, Ken (May), Alvin (Florence), Gordon (Fern) and Lorne (Diana); numerous nieces and nephews, and dear friend Anne Moffat.
She was predeceased by her husband Ray (2002), infant son, parents, Frank and Edith Walker, granddaughter Amber, sister Gladys Weber, and brothers-in-law, Vic Weber and Len Brennan.
Doris was born in Winnipeg. She grew up near Grosse Isle, Manitoba. Doris was the eldest of the three children. Doris and Ray were married on August 5, 1950 and resided in Reaburn where they raised their family.
Doris worked at numerous jobs but most important was raising her family.
Doris enjoyed camping, fishing, travelling, crocheting, knitting, reading and taking pictures, but most of all spending time with her grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 19 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, with burial and reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Manitoba Lung Association, P.O. Box 2040, 1000 - 266 Graham Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0A0 or the Woodlands Pioneer Museum, c/o Lorna Broadfoot, General Delivery, Woodlands, MB R0C 3H0.
Her family would like to thank Sherry Buors and home care staff for the many years of care and the nursing staff at Stonewall Hospital for their compassion and kindness during this difficult time.
With tearful eyes we watched you and saw you pass away and though we loved you dearly we could not make you stay.

To the Tully family, my heart goes out to you all. I remember your mom when she came into the office over the years. I totally understand what it is like to lose your mom. You all have cherished memories to carry in your heart of the good times you were lucky enough to have. She will be with you all forever.
