RUBEN BAJAR BELLO
January 28, 1941 - March 11, 2020

With great sorrow we announce the sudden passing of Ruben Bajar Bello at the age of 79.
He was a beloved husband who was predeceased by his wife of 46 years, Dominga Bello. He leaves to mourn his children, Richard Bello (Marjorie Bello) and Ruby Bello (Nathaniel Barin); grandchildren, Lily and Iris Barin; and siblings, Anacorita, Stenelly, Alfredo, Emilio, Marina and Jose, and many adoring nephews and nieces and their children.
Ruben was born in Baleno, Masbate, Philippines and moved to Winnipeg in 1971. He worked 35 years for Canadian Tool and Die until he retired to enjoy many years of travel, leisure and trips to the casino with his wife and many family member and friends.
He will be remembered for his kind, gentle spirit, his generosity, humour and unbiased love. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
There will be a viewing at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18, 2020, at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard.
Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 19, 2020, at Mary Mother of the Church, 85 Kirkbridge Drive. Burial will follow at Fort Garry Roman Catholic Cemetery and a reception will be held at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home.
