Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • Marguerite was a wonderful woman who loved her children and treasured her friends. Our condolences. Your loss is our loss. Jean Doern and Dan Millican - Posted by: Daniel Millican (Friend) on: Mar 25, 2020

  • Mrs H (later Mrs B) was an omnipresent cheerful and enthusiastic fan at virtually all of my good buddy Bruce's many sporting events. I have endless memories of her cheering us on at our generally mediocre performances over the course of our typically valiant though vain efforts. I think she derived the greatest pleasure at Bruce and Freddy B's occasional minor successes at creating a small sliver of an opening for our stellar running back's bursts through the line, to the screaming adoration of the packed house at RH field. All kidding aside, Mrs H was an absolute saint. She went through more heartache than any soul should endure, and was unfailingly a bright and shining presence in the lives of any fortunate enough to know her. She had an abiding faith in Bruce and his motley collection of reprobate friends that bordered on absurd, with absolutely no evidence upon which to base such faith. She was an angel, and she will be sorely missed. God be with you, Mrs. H. Until we meet again... - Posted by: Brian Sharpe (Friend of the family/pseudo foster son) on: Mar 23, 2020

  • What a wonderful person. Thanks to my friendship with Marilyn, I got to know the Henderson family. What a lovely woman, gracious hostess, loving Mother, fun and intelligent. Mrs. Henderson always made me feel like part of the family during visits to their cottage at Victoria Beach or in the city. She will be missed by her family and friends and we will all treasure special memories of her. Marilyn please know I am thinking of you and will see you in Winnipeg later this Spring.
