RONALD ARTHUR WOOD
June 16, 1931 - March 31, 2020
He was born in Newdale, MB. He was in the Navy for five years, in the Korean Theatre of War. In 1954, he joined the Winnipeg Police Department, retiring after 36 years.
He will be dearly missed by his wife Mavis; daughter Wendy Johnson; daughter-in-law Sharon; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sons, Ronald, Gary and Randy.
Ron always enjoyed a good game of crib and his pets.
In lieu of flowers, if so desired, donations may be sent to Deer Lodge Centre Foundation, 2109 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3J 0L3.

My Dear Wendy Aunty Mimi told me of your dad’s passing. My heart goes out to you at this time. All of our antics out at the beach, running over to our dads cars on Friday night being so excited. My dad was a hard working man. That worker as a lumberjack in the mountains norther B.c. He was proud to be in the Navy a policeman & a father. He loved us and has been missing his boys. He leaves behind alot of grandchildren, great grandkids & freinds. He will be missed by many. I will miss our talks and playing games.
