ELIZABETH (ELSIE) LONGLEY
(nee REIMER)
Mom was born on June 11, 1927 in Miami, Manitoba, daughter of Peter and Agatha Reimer.
Elsie was predeceased by her husband Bill Longley and 10 siblings. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Bob, Cecil (Carol), Judy (Ernie), Jacquie, Debbie (Keith), Donna, Bill (Deidre), Joanne, Lisa (Ken) and Jason (Lisa); two sisters, Mary and Helen; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family and friends.
Mom and Dad married on March 31, 1945 and together they lived their life in Winnipeg. Mom was an excellent cook and baker. We all have fond memories of the delicious meals she prepared. Mom was a very hard worker and while raising ten children, also worked evenings at various jobs. She had a wonderful sense of humour and loved a game of cards or bingo.
The family would like to thank Meadowood Manor for the care they have given mom over the last five years.
As a consequence of Covid-19, a Memorial Service and interment will be held at a later date.
Mom, you will be forever missed and in
our hearts. May you Rest in Peace.
