Condolences & Memories (10 entries)

  • Dear Helena and Family, We are deeply sad to hear about Armando's passing. Please accept our heartfelt condolences. We will always treasure the times we spent together when you visited Vancouver sharing a nice meal and a glass of wine. We understood Armando to be a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and a friend who was always ready to help where-ever he could. He was a man very strong in his faith and of ethics and integrity. Life will never be the same without him but he will continue to be with you as you look back and share the many wonderful memories you have created over the years. These will get you through this most difficult time of sorrow. He will be greatly missed. Sending our love' Tony and Maria DiBiase - Posted by: Antonio Di Biase (Friend) on: Apr 14, 2020

  • I am saddened to hear about the passing of Armando. I know what kind of man he was passionate and caring always ready to help anyone who needed it. Devoted loving husband and grandfather who adored his family and friends. He will be missed by all who knew him but, one thing I know for sure is that heaven has recruited a new angel to their army. To Helena his wife his daughter Sylvia and her husband Dino and the entire Camara Family you were all blessed to have this wonderful man in your lives. We will meet him again someday when god calls all of us to join him in eternal peace. Rest in Peace Sweet Angel. - Posted by: Ed Raposo (friend of Dino Tavares ) on: Apr 09, 2020

  • Dear Sylvia and family, My husband and I were very saddened to read that your father had passed away. We had the pleasure of meeting him when you introduced us to him and he and his crew did the beautiful brickwork for our fireplace. He was a very talented man in addition to be very kind and courteous. May you and your family be comforted by all the precious memories you shared together. WHEN SOMEONE YOU LOVE BECOMES A MEMORY, THAT MEMORY BECOMES A TREASURE. Sincerely, Pam and Ken Wazney - Posted by: Pam Wazney (Former coworker of daughter Sylvia Camara Tavares) on: Apr 07, 2020

  • Dear Helena and family I am so saddened with the passing of Armando, I am so thankful that God allowed me to share some memories and time with him during our trip to Brazil. He was the most compassionate man I have ever met, his patience and his smile, always trying to give you all the comfort he could which was second to none. God knew that you were going to need him in your life, that is why HE sent him to you, to be your loving husband. There are no words that a human can say to ease your pain, only God will be able to comfort you and all your precious family. May God take him direct to heaven where is belongs, where there will be no more suffering and no more pain but peace, love and Angel choirs. • Dear Dad, It is sad to see your photo in this section of the news. I know you suffered lots these last few weeks and months. Because of COVID19 we can’t have a proper funeral. I know the church would be full with all your family and friends. For those that did not know my father, he was a man of word and love. He would never hesitate to help others and would never say no if asked for help. My dad and mom has been married for 51 years and the love he displayed to my mom Maria Helena was outstanding, both loved each other so much. My dad also loved his kids, grandkids, his siblings and friends like no other. A friend of the family stated that my dad was like superman! That he was. He was a man or integrity, hard worker, with values and morals that preceded human kind. May your soul rest in peace dad. We got mom! You take care of our relatives who have passed before us and we will work hard on your legacy here on earth. Love you so much. 😢💔😘♥️💜❤️ - Posted by: Sylvia Camara Tavares (Daughter) on: Apr 04, 2020
