Yvonne is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Wally; children, Gary (Sandra), Ken (Dianne), Ron, Jeff (Pat), Karen (Brian) and Donna (Randy); grandchildren, Shane, Lauren, Jennifer, Kaitlyn, Emily, Dale, Cori, Ron, Tim, Brett and Scott; great- grandchildren, Caleb, Zara, Lena, Lexie; sister Marion; sisters-in-law, Alma and Ruth.
Yvonne worked for more than 25 years for the Bank of Montreal. She was a very good seamstress and loved to sew for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also loved quilting and was a member of the Riverside Quilters in Lac du Bonnet. She was an active volunteer at the Lac du Bonnet Legion. She enjoyed baking and always had chocolate chip cookies and butter tarts on hand. Sunday family dinners were her favourite!!
The family would like to thank the home care workers and Dr. Bruneau and everyone who helped in her care.
As per Yvonne's wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

My condolences to Wally and family. Yvonne was an integral part of Riverside Quilters. She was liked by everyone. Whenever anything was required she was the first to step up. From making sure we always had coffee, making aprons, etc. to sell at our quilt shows and joining in any social activities we had. We looked forward to when it was her turn to make the snack for coffee time. Her scones were the best I've ever tasted. Rest in peace Yvonne, you will be missed. - Posted by: Joan Einarson (Friend - quilting) on: Apr 11, 2020
