BRIGID KATHLEEN MALONE
She was the loving wife of Joseph Francis Malone who predeceased her in 1981. Together Brigid and Joe celebrated 27 years of marriage and raised seven children. Brigid will be lovingly remembered by her children, Bob, Barbara (Lloyd), Kathy (Howie), Colleen (Brent), John (Rosa), Rosemary (Don) and Thomas (Bev); and her grandchildren, Shauna, Sean, Megan, Carolyn, Christina, Devon, Teagan, Kiera, Quinn, Rhea, Garrick and Christiane.
In addition to her loving husband Joe, Brigid was predeceased by her parents, Theresa and Daniel Costello of Dublin, Ontario; her brothers, Bill, Joe, Bernard, Daniel, Gordon; and father Jack; her sisters, Mary, Jean, Margaret, Dorothy; and her grandchild Lauren. Brigid will be missed by her sister Patricia (Doug), her many great-grandchildren, extended family and numerous friends throughout the country.
Brigid was an avid curler, bridge player, baseball player (in her youth) and gardener, but her passion was family. She was actively involved in the community, volunteering at Sir John Franklin Community Club, St. John Brebeuf Church and numerous other community organizations that impacted many lives. Brigid was kind, gentle, devoted to family and friends and was never afraid to speak her mind and express her thoughts.
A burial will be held at Chapel Lawn respecting the restrictions of Covid-19. A memorial service will be held once the restrictions are lifted.
Brigid lived a beautiful life and passed in an equally beautiful manner.
Brigid, you will be missed and forever loved
by all the family and friends you touched.
As Brigid would say to close each night to
whomever was present "God love ya"!

Dear Rosemary, Colleen, Kathy and families, Mark and I were very sad to hear of the passing of your Mother, Brigid. I always remember meeting Brigid out at Grand Beach and at your wedding, Rosemary. She was a lovely, strong woman and seemed so both inside and out. I know she has a wonderful legacy in her children. She was blessed to be able to have her family around her and to be able to pass in such a lovely way, surrounded by them and in her own home. Our condolences to you. - Posted by: Susan Neuendorff (Friend) on: May 04, 2020

To Tom and all the Malone family, my warmest and heartfelt condolences. I am so saddened to hear of your Mom’s passing. I was fortunate enough to have grown up down the street from the Malone’s and to have Tom as a great childhood friend. Brigid was a kind, caring and generous person which made all the kids on the block feel like the door was always open at the Malone home. Mrs. Malone always made me feel welcome and part of the family whether it be hanging out at the Malone home on Carpathia Rd or summers spent at their cabin in the Whiteshell . I will always cherish and be grateful for those happy childhood memories. It is obvious that she (and Joe) created a loving, caring and kind family. It is her legacy and that will live on in all of you. A true pillar of the community, she will be sorely missed but never forgotten. - Posted by: Glenn McConnell (Friend of Thomas ) on: Apr 18, 2020
