LENA REIMANN

It is with great sorrow and heavy hearts we announce the passing of our mother and grandmother, Lena Reimann (Anderson) on April 15, 2020 at the age of 93.
She will be lovingly remembered and missed by her children, Roberta (Wayne), Doreen, Rose-Marie (Blaine), Heidi, Garth, David, Debra, Robert (Kimberley) and grandchildren, Nicole, Martin Jr, Leo Jr, Jamie, Destiny, Victoria, Adam, Robert Jr, Donald Jr, Richard, Christopher, Candace, Charles Jr, Tyler, Jacqueline, Casey, Delaney, Dylan and Monica and countless great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and many more friends that she considered her family.
Lee was predeceased by her son Timothy; former husband Kurt; sons-in-law, Martin and Donald and honourary son Eugene. Although she went by Lee, she was mostly known as Mom or Gramma by her family, friends, neighbours and customers.
Gramma will always be remembered for her smile, her laugh, her wit and her colourful vocabulary. Gramma lost her memory a couple years ago, but we feel blessed to have been there to create and share those memories with her along the way. Mom/Gramma, you will be deeply missed by all and we will keep your memories alive and safe.
A celebration of Lee's life will be organized at a later date. A visitation for friends will be held between 6:00 and 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday April 22, 2020 at Glen Eden Memorial. Interment will follow on Thursday, April 23, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. Pall Bearers are grandsons, Martin Bender Jr, Leo Sanderson Jr, Adam Reimann, Robert Reimann Jr, Donald Leroy Jr, Charles McNichol Jr, with honorary pallbearers, grandsons, Richard Millitaire, Tyler Reimann, Casey Reimann, Dylan Leroy and Christopher Reimann.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to a charity of your choice.

Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • I am Soo Very Sorry to hear of Mrs Reimann’s (Lees’s) passing.. I had met Debbie in school, we were in grade 5 together, 1970 was the year, I lived on Polson and Debbie and her family next street over on Atlantic .. I always called Mrs Reimannn, Mrs Reimann .. out of Respect ❤️ for almost the 10 years that I hung out with the family, until I moved out on my own to the country, I probably .. practically hung out there 300 days out of the 365 in the year, Aaah how we lived to play sports .. Baseball and football.. everyday played till it was Soo dark we couldn’t see the ball. Some of the Best times .. if I could ever go back in time it would be to play a game with everyone .. I remember if Mrs Reimann wasn’t in Her chair in the living room she was at work, At the Chocolate Shoppe on Portage Ave. Debbie and I would hop on the bus and head downtown so that we could meet her mom at the Shoppe, we would help carry the Pastries upstairs to be put back in the coolers then ride the bus altogether home.. We would watch down the block for her walking home from getting off the bus from work and go meet her down the block and walk home with her together .. I remember Mrs Reimann as a Proud stellar lady, walked with her head held high, always had her hair done so nice, sunglasses on with a Great Smile, heading home from work.. I really wish I could have seen her again, but most times it was I had no idea where to find anybody.. It was Great seeing and talking to you Robert at the JETS/ Rangers game this past Feb .. I want to Extend My Sincerest Condolences to All of the Family On the passing of your Mom, Gramma and Great Gramma 🙏🏻 I just found out tonight ( April 30th ). when my sister saw it in One of her older Newspapers . Please let me know when you have a get together, I would Love to come by and pay my Respects...Thinking of you all at this sad time time...Take Care. Debbie ❤️😢💕 - Posted by: Debbie Beger ( PICARD) (Friend ) on: May 01, 2020

  • Please accept my condolences I have many fond memories of Lee (MoM) When she lived on Boyd Ave . I remember playing cards with her for hours While sharing a few beers and laughs. Seemed like a life time ago She Loved her family deeply. Though time stole her memory I am sure it didn’t steal the love in her heart . Rest In Peace and may God give her family comfort knowing she earned her wings .🙏 - Posted by: Tina Gilbert (Former Daughter in law ) on: Apr 18, 2020
