LUZVIMINDA ALARILLA
Luz was born on March 19, 1951, in the Philippines to the late Victorino and Teodora Ingalla.
She loved her family, was very caring, generous, and hospitable. She loved serving the Lord and sharing the Gospel. She treasured God's word. She loved to read her bible everyday, up until her vision was affected by her cancer, she continued to listen to God's word through her audio bible on her iPad. She enjoyed cooking for her family and church fellowships. She loved to travel with her daughter and enjoyed walking everyday with her husband.
She is survived by her husband Juanito Alarilla; daughter Jeannie Alarilla; sisters, Rosalina Castor, Mercelita Paderes, Eufrocina Venancio, Rufina Buenaventura; brothers, Freddie Calvadores, Henry Calvadores, Rey Calvadores, Andy Calvadores, the late Robert Calvadores; as well as many nieces and nephews.
We wish to extend our heartfelt thanks to all our close friends/relatives, church family at Faith Life Community Ministries who provided encouragement, support and helped us in our hours of need, home care workers, Dr. James Paul and staff at CancerCare Manitoba and Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg.
A private family viewing will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home and Cemetery on Friday, May 1, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m with burial to follow at 3:00 p.m. Viewing and Burial will be live streamed from Chapel Lawn Funeral Home in order to minimize contact and comply with the Province of Manitoba COVID-19 guidelines on social/physical distancing.
