Although we did not know Joan well, what we do know is that she was a hard working lady who was dedicated passionately to the UFCW retirees club. She obviously worked countless hours making sure everything was organized properly. We enjoyed listening to her little speeches about upcoming events for the club etc., and especially her kind face and sweet smile when we walked in the door at the luncheons.
