JEANNE (JUBINVILLE) LECLAIR
She was predeceased by her husband, Eugene, in 2008.
Jeanne and Eugene married in 1944, and lived and worked in Letellier and Emerson for most of their years, raising their family of 10 children, before relocating to Winnipeg in their later years.
Mom spent her entire life devoting her time and love towards her family. She was always on top of everything; whether it was meal planning, sewing up originals for the kids, canning the garden produce, or doing book work for the family business. She ran a well-organized household. Mom was a stay at home essential worker long before it became a thing of the times. Mom also had well developed interrogation skills, they were difficult to avoid. We will all miss her but know that she has found freedom at last.
She leaves to mourn her passing 10 children, Alain (Bonnie), Claude, Paulette (Dan), Estelle, Richard (Lola), Paul (Kristina), Annette (Michael), Anita (Wayne), Marcel (Fern), Charline (Michael); 17 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by grandson, Colin Trent; and two sons-in-law, Elton Anderson and Craig Borland.
Jeanne was also predeceased by three sisters, Ida, Cecile and Gaetanne; three brothers, Edouard, Paul and Roland. Left to remember her with love are her sisters, Rita and Mathilde; brothers, Ludger and Lionel (Loni); as well as sister-in-law Therese Leclair.
Thank you to the staff at Actionmarguerite St. Vital for their care and support of Mom these last few years.
The caregivers at Residence Despins also deserve a big thank you for their contributions in making Mom's journey a happier one.
A family memorial and service to take place at a later time.

To all of my cousins and their families, condolences. I remember how my aunt Jeanne was so energetic. And loud. I mean that in a joyful way. Because having her and her sister Ida in the same room was always "energizing". The laughter! The last time I saw Aunt Jeanne was when she came to Picture Butte to say goodbye to my mom before she passed in 1998. Very moving that was. Take care. - Posted by: Gilles Leclair (Nephew) on: Jun 05, 2020

Condolences to the family. Your mom was truly an amazing lady! I will remember her laugh, especially. One nice memory I have is of when she sewed plaid material onto the bottoms of Annette and Anita's jeans because we were all huge Bay City Roller fans at the time! - Posted by: Greta Gibson (Friend) on: May 18, 2020
