Who is this woman who could have 12 children, love, nurture and take care of all their needs.
One who experienced the agony of losing an infant.
Someone who always put someone else's needs above her own.
One who stayed committed to a marriage for 63 years.
Someone who gave to neighbours in need when her own resources were limited.
One whose smile could light up a room and who loved to laugh. Treasuring spending time with friends and family, camping and hunting.
Someone who enjoyed to dance, play bingo and fish. A fierce competitor who beat everyone at card games and darts.
In later years she liked working outside the home as a seamstress, gaining independence and discovering her talents.
One who would welcome more people into a house that was already full and bursting. She was a great hostess serving delicious food and desserts.
Someone who always had a kind word, a touch and some encouragement. Even during her last years with dementia at the Villa she would show love to the other residents asking how they were doing.
This precious woman is our mother who we all admired and adored. During her final hours we had the pleasure of singing to mom her favourite song "You are my Sunshine". Well mom, you are our sunshine and forever will be!
We will miss you mom, love, Paul, Lorraine, Eveline, Albert, George, Rolland, Gerald, Maurice, Claudette, Denise and Norman and their spouses, 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her three siblings, Jeanne Mymyrk, Yvette Bitcon and Edward Pelletier.
She was predeceased by an infant son Raymond, husband Leo, and a great-granddaughter Alayla.
A big thank you to the Villa Youville for taking care of our mom and especially Soeur Rioux who seemed to have a knack for getting a big smile from mom.

"Goodbye Mother,
you now have your rightful spot
amongst the Angels in Heaven"
