WILLIAM JOSEPH (BILL) CONNORS
Bill was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba to William and Emily Connors on January 26, 1940.
He was predeceased by his parents, his brother Patrick and sister Monica Mortemore. He is survived by his brother Edward (Doreen), nieces and nephews, Edward, Melanie, Maria, Monica, Patrick and Tony.
Bill attended several Winnipeg schools, finalizing his education at the University of Manitoba where he completed his degree and graduated as a Certified General Accountant. He retired in 1997 from the Canada Revenue Agency.
His many leisure activities include a membership in the Royal Canadian Legion where he enjoyed fellowship and playing darts. Also, he enjoyed playing Karaoke at other clubs. Bill was a self-taught accomplished banjo player and for several years was a member of a band called the "Banjo Bandits". He enjoyed travel, camping, and his Schnauzer. From a young age Bill owned several interesting cars ... a 1950 Prefect, a 1934 Ford coupe, 1947 Monarch red convertible, 1952 Lincoln, Mustang, Thunderbird and the old black jeep. Bill was a good mechanic and enjoyed working on his vehicles.

A private family funeral will take place with interment at Elmwood Cemetery.
Bill's charities were The Salvation Army and Friends of Elmwood Cemetery Inc.
