The memories of my life growing up in Windsor Park area of Winnipeg will always include my many visits to the Goethals' home. Maurice and Irene welcomed me as one of the family and I will always remember this. I feel sad for his passing. - Posted by: Kevin Phelps (Friend) on: May 19, 2020

My deepest sympathies to all the family. The last time I saw Maurice and Irene was at their cottage in Winnipeg Beach about 30 years ago....they were so happy there, enjoying their time together....a great memory. He was a great godfather to me in my youth...always kind and supportive. Take care to all, Frank Goethals - Posted by: Frank Goethals (Godson) on: May 09, 2020
