Condolences & Memories (6 entries)
I have known Libra for many many years. We met at Eaton's and remain friends all these years. We shared some cherished moments, some sad ones too, but manage to remain positive through it all because that's the strong and beautiful person she was. I'll miss her pep talk about like, her love for God, a very devoted catholic. I'll miss my visits with her on Birthdays, Mother's day, Christmas and regular days how excited and happy she would be to see me. I'll miss her dearly, and cherish her memory for ever! Girlfriend rest in peace... you deserved it. Iris and the Rowe family extend their condolences to the Bacon family. - Posted by: Iris Burt-Rowe (Beloved friend ) on: Jun 01, 2020

A much loved Aunt who will be very much missed by me and my family. We looked forward to her Sunday evening phone calls when she would tell us about her week and what she’d been up to. Her recall was fantastic and her family history information was invaluable. She brought long gone relatives to life and I never tired of hearing stories of her life as a girl in England, she was the last surviving member of the Vettas family and her passing brings great sadness. However she lived a good long life and she has earned her place now in heaven with her loved ones. May you Rest in Peace Aunt Libra. Our condolences to Eugene, Tony and families on losing your beloved mother ❤️ - Posted by: Judith Whyman nee Vettas (Niece) on: May 17, 2020
Thinking of you Eugene (and family). You have been such a devoted son, I know, and this will leave quite a hole in your life. That she lived to 97 was amazing, and she well deserves to rest now. Always hard to lose your Mom no matter how long they (and we) have lived, so we will be thinking of you. I will always remember the time Doug and I took took Libra and Lillian to Birdshill Park, and the image of the backs of those two tiny ladies chatting away, heads leaning together, ahead of us on the trail stays with me. And THAT was many years ago now. - Posted by: Elizabeth Mallett (Family friend.) on: May 17, 2020
Tony, Clemus, relatives and friends, my thoughts and prayers are extended to you as you grieve the passing of your beloved Libra. She had the opportunity to live a long life, but it is still very painful to have a loving mother and grandmother leave this earthly life. I am with you in these difficult times. - Posted by: Gabriel Levesque (Friend) on: May 16, 2020
