I first met Lawrence Penn when I went to work for him as an Accounts Payable Clerk in the Purchasing Department at MTS at 1300 Ellice Avenue in 1962 and worked under him until 1967. I moved to several other jobs at MTS and got him again in Material Control as a Stock Analyzer from 1978 to 1980. He sure lived to a ripe old age and you were lucky to have him around as a father, grandfather and great- grandfather for so long. He has outlived most of the ones who worked under him. I just turned 79 and am probably one of the few still around who worked for him. I retired from MTS Purchasing myself in 1995 as a Purchasing Agent after 34 years of service. My sincere condolences to all of you. May he Rest In Peace. - Posted by: Edwin H. Peart (Friend ) on: May 23, 2020

My deepest condolences to Lawrence's family on his passing. I worked with him at 1300 Ellice in the 1970's. I would like to share a quote with his family. "Laurie has not died, but merely gone away, to a better place, free of pain and suffering. We will see him again some day". Rest In Peace, Laurie. You are loved and will be missed. - Posted by: Patricia Homenick (Co-worker at Manitoba Telephone) on: May 23, 2020
