Ross's career in the RCMP lasted 26 years, taking him to many parts of Saskatchewan, where he created many friendships along the way. His love of music began in his youth and continued into retirement, continuing to play piano and sing in local choirs. His passion of aviation was evident in the time he spent by the runway and the airport.

Was so looking forward to reconnecting with Ross this summer! Haven’t seen him since school. We were in the same school and jr high. Elementary and then jr high at EJ Dunn, we played in band together. - Posted by: Maureen Sorensen (Friend from school) on: May 30, 2020

So sorry to hear of Ross's passing. Ross worked for me prior to entering the RCMP. He was a very handsome, pleasant young man. He had great potential as a broadcaster, but the RCMP was a much better opportunity for him. RIP Ross. - Posted by: Moe Inwards (Former employer) on: May 30, 2020
