SANDRA HUNTER
After a brief battle with cancer she joins Mom and Dad to start a new adventure. She will be lovingly remembered by her sister and brother-in-law, Sue and Alan; brother and sister-in-law, Greg and Vanessa; and many friends and family who held a special place in her heart.
Sandra excelled at her job as the Executive Assistant for the Director of Corporate Services at Transport Canada. However, when it came to decorating sugar cookies and baking she took her passion to the next level. Friends and family were often gifted with her delicious edible works of art. Sandra also had a love for travel and enjoyed planning the annual family vacation. This often took 50 weeks of the year but usually began before the current vacation ended.
The family would like to thank the staff at CancerCare Manitoba, Palliative/Home Care, the staff at Riverview Health Centre and Dr. Karen Moran de Muller.
Respecting Sandra's wishes there will be no funeral services but rather Sandra would want you to choose a happy memory of your time together and remember her with a smile on your face.
In lieu of flowers, Sandra would be touched by a donation to CancerCare Manitoba, Riverview Health Centre or to a charity of your choice.

So sorry to hear of Sandra's passing. Our condolences to Sue, Alan, Vanessa and Greg. There are so many good and warm personality traits of Sandra's that will be sorely missed by those that knew her. Her talents were difficult to match. So many delightful memories to keep her close to our hearts. Rest in peace Sandra. - Posted by: Len and Vicki Lazaruk (friends) on: Jun 13, 2020
