GRACE HOPKINS
(CAPORUSSO)
Grace leaves behind her husband of 35 years, Dwain Hopkins, and her children, Kayla (Jesse) and Shasta. She also leaves behind one grandchild Makenzie.
Grace was born in Italy and came to Canada when she was five. She devoted most of her professional life to helping children as an educational assistant.
We would like to thank Dr. Permack, Sandy, Scott and the nurses from the palliative care unit.
A celebration of Grace's life will take place at a later date, when we can all gather together.

Grace and I worked together for several years early in my teaching career at Ralph Maybank. She was so caring and supportive of the many children and families she encountered in her role at school. She had a special gift for seeing right to the heart of children facing challenges and provided the depth of understanding and gentle heart they needed most. I always appreciated her sense of humour and role up your sleeves attitude day in and day out! Sending my deepest sympathy and hope for courage, comfort and love to Dwain, Kayla, Jesse, Shasta and Makenzie. - Posted by: Cheryl Kenyon (Colleague and friend) on: Jun 15, 2020
