(nee MALNYK)
Mom is lovingly remembered by her husband Bill, of 63 years; her children, Nancy (Kevin), Bill (Debra), Cynthia (Michael); and her grandchildren, Emily and Jennifer. She also will be missed by her brothers, Edward (Mary) and Marvin (Shirley).
Mom was predeceased by her parents, Peter and Julia Malnyk; and her grandson Michael Sikora. She will also be lovingly remembered by her nieces and her nephews, sisters-in-law, and many friends; many of which were lifelong and others, more recent.
A private celebration of Mom's life has taken place. At a future date, a memorial will be held in her honour.
Donations in Evelyn's name can be made to the Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation.
You loved us with all your heart Mom,
we will carry your love forever.

Dear Bill and family - Just tonight Kay came back from a chat with Ed and Dorothy Bohonos with the sad, sad news that we have lost our lovely quality neighbour Evelyn. This means that our personal community has suddenly been greatly diminished. Although we now have to be satisfied with the happy unexpected encounters as they happened which have been so much enjoyed and valuable whenever we have bumped into each other. The Heads and their lovely home has always been a pleasure to recall whenever I/we drive by 'your place'. Should you be in the area, Bill, feel free to stop by for a visit and a few words about what really were the good old days - we are still in the same old place ! Dear Bill & family.......We were very sorry to hear of the passing of Evelyn and we offer our sincerest sympathies to all of you at this time of loss. Although we had never met her but we got to know you when you shared your health experience with David when he had encountered his health ailment to which he was extremely grateful for the information you had provided on your visit to Vancouver back in 2011 resulting in his speedy recovery.
