TERESA KOVACS

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Aunt Teresa on June 23, 2020, at the age of 91, surrounded by her family.
Teresa is survived by her youngest brother Giuseppe Cardamone (Rosarina). Teresa was predeceased by her husband Adolf in July 2009; parents, Pietro and Maria Cardamone; sister Caterina; brothers, Raffaele, Antonio and Francesco; and sisters-in-law, Maria and Caterina.
She immigrated to Canada in 1965 and worked at Riverview Hospital for many years. She enjoyed travelling with her husband Adolf to various countries and vacationing in Mexico. She loved her gardening and sewing. Not having any children of her own, she loved and treated her nieces and nephews as her own. She had a huge heart and was loved by everyone that met her. She spent the last few years of her life at Sterling House where she made many friends and beautiful memories.
A huge thank you to the staff at the St. Boniface dialysis unit and Misericordia Health Centre for their care.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private family service will take place. There will be no public viewing.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation.
