ANITA ROSE CARROLL

On June 21, 2020, in Selkirk, MB, Anita Carroll, aged 64 years, passed away.
She was predeceased by brother Wendell (2007); niece Renee (2012); mother Isabell (2013) and sister-in-law Louise (2015).
She is sadly missed by brothers, Ed (Judy) of Brandon, MB; George (Carol) of Selkirk, MB; Ken (Jesse) of Winnipeg, MB; and sister-in-law Ilona, Calgary, AB. Also missing her will be many nieces, nephews and friends that meant so much to her.
A Celebration of Life is to be held at a later date yet to be determined.

  • Anita was a true and loyal friend. It was my great pleasure to meet her during our junior high and high school years in Selkirk. Anita had a brilliant mind, and her gift for mathematics and sciences was apparent from the start. She excelled in her University studies and took great pride in her work as a pharmacist. I will remember the countless evenings spent playing games in her kitchen with friends and the many dance parties we had in the basement. Anita always put others before herself and had an empathetic and trustworthy heart. In years gone by, she has been the 'glue' that has held our high school friends together and reminded us of the importance of placing friendship above all else. Our twice a year get togethers happened because of Anita. Dear Anita, we will continue in the tradition you have started and we will remember you always with so much love. My heartfelt condolences.   • I am so sorry for your loss. I've known Anita for quite a few years and enjoyed her stories of her adventures throughout her life. She was a wonderful person with an amazing spirit and could talk to her for hours. I will truly miss her. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
