The "Shed" enjoyed his cheery smile, and although we did not see him very often, he was a joy to have at our weekly gatherings. Our heartfelt Condolences, to the family - Posted by: Woodhaven MensShed (Barry was a member, briefly) on: Jul 20, 2020

We worked together back in the early 1970's at the Gulf office at St. James Street. Barry was always entertaining and a pleasure to be around. He had that infectious smile that could warm up a room. - Posted by: Larry Maydonik (co-worker Gulf Canada) on: Jul 11, 2020

Sorry to read of your father's death, Wendy. My father passed at the age of 90. He had lived a full life but there are many days I would love to talk to him. Cherish good memories. - Posted by: Norman Fullerton (Wendy's high school teacher ) on: Jul 04, 2020

Our family is so sad to hear this, a true loss. Barry was a warm, kind man to me and my family and I think of him fondly all the time. My memories go back to when I was a small child visiting Barry, Maggie and their family for the holidays. He was a genuinely kind man and will be missed by our family. Our prayers and condolences go out to Barry's family and friends. - Posted by: Joanne Bales (Related through marriage. ) on: Jul 04, 2020

Uncle Barry will always be in our hearts. He was always a fun loving guy and a great person to be around. In typical Effler fashion he was a great competitor and I will always cherish our golf games over the years. Condolences to Barry, Laurie, Bill, Wendy and Marlene - Posted by: Neil and Colleen Effler (Nephew) on: Jul 04, 2020
