ROLF ELMENTHALER

Having lived the last few years with a number of serious health issues, and after stays in hospital and in a personal care home, Rolf died at home on June 29, 2020, at the age of 78 years.
He is predeceased by his parents, Louis and Elisabeth. He is survived by his sister Karin and her husband Ewald, and his nephew Dieter, all of Germany.
Rolf emigrated from Germany in the early 1960s, and lived for a time in Switzerland and South Africa before arriving in Winnipeg. All his adult life he made a living as a house painter.
Rolf had only a few friends preferring a quiet and private life with the company of his cats.
A private graveside service will take place on July 8.
