ANGELA (NELLIE) GRABOWESKI
1925 - 2020
Angela is survived by her children, Ben (Gladys), Victoria (John), Irene, Angie (Mike) and Joe (Lois); grandchildren, Rosayln (Tom), Mark, John (Melissa), Josh (Cher), Jaymes (Ashley), Jordan (Nicole), Melissa (Darcy), Arianna, Garrett and Hailey; great-grandchildren, Lydia, Brandt, Adelyne, Jack, Nevayah, Makenna, Preston and Sutton. She is also survived by her brother Andy Yablonski, and sisters-in-law, Pat Yablonski, Irene Tataryn and Marie Graboweski.
Angela was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Emil Graboweski; parents, Anthony and Katherine Yablonski; sons-in-law, Terry Allen and Chi Man; brothers, John, Walter, Frank, Joe and Peter Yablonski; sisters, Mary Michaluk, Jean Nickarz and Anne Kozera.
She was born August 2, 1925, in Malonton, Manitoba. Emil and Angela married in 1951 and they started the dairy farm in 1952, where they resided and raised their family. In 1978, they sold the dairy and established the present day Graboweski Concrete, a business from which she never really "retired." Angela was a long time member of the parish at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church in Winnipeg Beach.
Her hands were never still - cooking, baking and gardening - but her true passion was her family. There was always room for you at Angela's table and nothing made her happier then having everyone together at Sunday gatherings after church.
Mass will be invitation only at Our Lady of the Lake Church on Friday, July 17, 2020, in Winnipeg Beach. Interment will follow at 11:15 a.m. in the Polish Pioneer Cemetery (#9 Hwy., Winnipeg Beach) where everyone is welcome, respecting COVID-19 restrictions.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Angela's memory may be made to the Polish Pioneer Cemetery.
Condolences may be left on her tribute wall at www.gilbartfuneralhome.com
Gilbart Funeral Home, Gimli

It is with a sad heart that I heard of your Mom's passing. I have fond memories of visits with your family and the wonderful food your Mom always put out, as well as the visits your parents made to our home with other friends and neighbors, playing cards, and the laughter! May all your memories comfort you, and may He be your comfort and strength; may you sense His nearness during your time of sorrow. With sincere sympathy, Joe Radomski, Charlie, John, Bernice, Josie and their families. - Posted by: Bernice Radomski (Former neighbour) on: Jul 22, 2020
