BRENDA NORMAND
Brenda was born in Brandon, as a result of the evacuation due to the 1950 flood, but grew up in Winnipeg. Brenda spent her entire work life at International Inn, now known as Victoria Inn, where she retired from in 2015. Brenda enjoyed the little things in life. She enjoyed going to bingo, hanging out at the Legion, spending time with family, and watching her TV shows. Brenda was known for her delicious pies that she would bring to family gatherings; we would look forward to getting through the meal so we could have her desserts.
Brenda was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Theresa Normand.
Brenda is survived by her brothers, Paul Normand (Wilma) and David Normand; sisters, Julie Reid (Brett), Valerie Nobess (Rick) and Marilyn Normand; as well as many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the people at CancerCare Manitoba for their help and guidance, as well as the staff and nurses at Health Sciences Centre during this difficult time.
Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 23, 2020, at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, West St. Paul. Interment to follow. We will be following social distancing guidelines.
In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations can be made in Brenda's memory to CancerCare Manitoba, or to Diabetes Canada.
