Mom and Dad were married in 1951, and farmed in Hamerlik/Poplarfield District. Mom enjoyed looking forward to spring time. New baby calves, turkeys and planting a huge garden. She was famous for her doughnuts along with the perogies and cabbage rolls. In her later years she enjoyed cutting grass, planting flowers and driving her Kubota. She enjoyed her winters for seven years going to Maui to visit Diana and son-in-law Christopher. She also enjoyed her trips to Hamilton, Victoria and Las Vegas visiting with family.
The family would like to thank the ambulance attendants, Dr. Mann and the staff at the Arborg Hospital for their care and compassion. A special thank you to our sister Diana and Christopher for looking after Mom the last seven months.

Sincerest condolences to all the family for your great loss. It was always a pleasure to visit with Baba Jean as my children called her when I would be over visiting or helping with Turkey round up or harvest. She was a very hard working, strong women doing a lot of work around the farm and still have time for her garden. We will miss you greatly.
