MARGARET ROSE JOHNSON

Margaret Rose Johnson, aged 72, of Oakbank, MB, went to be with Jesus on Monday, July 27, 2020. At her bedside was her loving husband, three sons and daughters-in-law. She was born on October 27, 1947, in Brokenhead, MB to Albert and Olga Litke.
Margaret was an amazing wife to Neil for 51 years. Last year they celebrated their 50th anniversary with their extended family and friends. Margaret also leaves behind three sons and daughters-in-law, Derek and Lisa, Darcy and Cyntia, Chris and Amy, and nine grandchildren whom she deeply loved. She also leaves behind 10 Litke brothers/sisters along with families and the same for the Johnson side of the family.
Margaret was a spunky, loving, strong, hardworking and courageous woman. She always faced whatever was in front of her with grace and grit. She was known for her faith in Jesus Christ, her deep love for her family and her care for her church community. She served for 25 years at Child Evangelism Fellowship. Marge loved her flower and vegetable garden. She was also an incredible cook and baker. She is deeply missed by so many friends and family.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2020, from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Sobering Funeral Chapel in Beausejour, MB. The burial will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Beausejour Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will follow in 2021.
