Condolences & Memories (8 entries)
Our condolences to his family in these trying times. I (Rick) remember well my time in his class room. Little did I know then that I would go on to live more than 20 years of my life speaking primarily French in Quebec and in France. He laid the foundation that helped me learn so much about another part of the human community and to come to respect the fact that language has a big influence on the way we see the world. I am also doing some serious family history work and now find that there may well be a distant family connection, as well. Indeed... We are ALL cousins! - Posted by: Carmen and Rick Dondo (Student from John Henderson (1968-69)) on: Aug 04, 2020
Rest in peace Mr. Gautron. - Posted by: Patricia Simcoe-Rosenbaum (Former Student) on: Aug 01, 2020
Loved having Mr. Gautron as my French teacher at John Henderson Junior High. I remember watching the French films in class and everyone asking him to run the film backwards. Most times he did and we all sat and laughed. Rest In Peace. - Posted by: Tammy Troschuk Walker (Former student ) on: Aug 01, 2020
