MARY FUTROS
1935 - 2020
Mary was born on April 28, 1935 in Foam Lake, Saskatchewan. She is survived by her sons, Bob and Ron, her sister Annie Rapaway, and many beloved extended family members. She was predeceased by husband Steve in 2012 and her brothers, John, Steve and Mike.
Mary moved to Manitoba originally to work, and eventually met her loving husband Steve, and married in 1961. Together, they lived happily on the farm in St. Francois Xavier for the rest of her life.
Mom liked flowers, gardening, chats with friends, and especially enjoyed family visits. She always made it a point to keep us well fed! She liked watching curling, and many game shows on T.V.
A special thanks to the nurses and staff at Notre Dame and Portage District Hospitals for all of their outstanding care.
Due to the current health crisis and in consideration of everyone's safety, a private family interment will take place at Chapel Lawn Cemetery.
