CORNELIA (CORRY) RUMPF
She was born in Leiden, The Netherlands on July 20, 1927.
She leaves behind her children, Lilian, Frank and Gary (Deborah); her grandchildren, Marsha, Timothy, Michelle, Kyle, Christopher and Matthew; her great-grandchildren, Keira, Emily, Adalyn and Anaya; as well as Eli and numerous relatives in Saskatchewan, New Zealand and The Netherlands.
Mom came to Canada with her husband John in 1953. She worked at St. Boniface Hospital as a nurse with the Department of Anesthesia until her retirement. Her hobbies included bingo, tai chi, needlework, knitting and reading until she was no longer capable of doing them.
We would like to thank all the staff at Extendicare Tuxedo Villa for all the wonderful care they've given to Mom over the past several years.
In keeping with the Covid-19 restrictions, there will be no funeral service or Celebration of Life held.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba or the charity of your choice.
