(GRACE) AUDREY MURRAY
Her memory will be lovingly cherished by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren: Diane (Bob), Karen (Rob - Jeremy and Stephanie - Willow, Chelsea, Dorian and Nathan), David (Chris - Ilia and Chris, Sean and Kayla - Nora, Wynn and Eva), Jeanne (Roger - Marcus, Jamie, Roman and Monica - Jake, Easton and Dillon, Nicole and Jon), her niece Suzanne, and all her dear friends. She was predeceased by her husband Bryson, and her parents, Wyn and Fred VanSlyck.
Audrey was a strong, compassionate spirit who touched the lives of everyone she knew. She gave to others selflessly, visiting friends in need, volunteering and supporting a number of charitable causes. Her passions and interests were varied and many. She and Bryson loved to entertain and friends and family frequently gathered at their home where all were made welcome. They also shared a joy of travelling and they visited many wonderful places and made lifelong friends. Other trips were made with friends and children. At home, she was always busy at something - her beautiful garden, admired by many, making jam and jelly, cooking and baking. She was an avid reader and a solver of puzzles, whether jigsaw, crossword or Sudoku. Mahjong also became a favourite game. Above all else, she loved her family and they her. She brought joy to people lucky enough to have her in their lives.
Many thanks to all the healthcare providers, especially Dr. Claire Jaeger.

So sorry to read of Audrey’s passing. Sympathies to all the family from also my dad; Gordon Van Slyck, your mom’s cousin. I remember her as kind and thoughtful, like her mother Wyn. Hoping your loving memories will bring you comfort. - Posted by: Connie Maes (Van Slyck) (Relative) on: Apr 09, 2021
I am so sorry to hear of your Mom/Grandma’s passing so late. They were such a wonderful pair and great friends of my in-laws! Doug adored being called “Ging”, your Dad was always a gentleman as your Mom was always a precious friend to Marion! I’m sure they're swimming / having happy hour or just a good laugh! All our love, the Doug McGillivray household 💜 - Posted by: Lynne McGillivray (Friend) on: Mar 27, 2021
We are so sad to hear of Mrs Murray’s passing. We have so many fond memories of her, Mr. Murray and her gardens. We loved to visit them when in town. My Dad (Doug) also had and shared many fond memories of growning up across the street from your family. I’m sorry for your loss. - Posted by: Jenn McGillivray (Archie and Marion’s Granddaughter) (Friend) on: Mar 27, 2021

Our sincere condolences to the family. We have known Audrey for many years - have shared a love of books, enjoyed our Mah Jong and appreciated the abundance of delicious dainties that appeared during the break in our games. Her home-made strawberry jam was something to which we looked forward each year. She will be sorely missed in many ways. - Posted by: Diane & David Judge (Long-time friends) on: Aug 11, 2020
