• I used to work for as her husband Lorne as HCA years ago and that’s how I met Irene. While I was providing care for her husband during respite twice a week she makes sure that I also provided a meal before she left for shopping or errands. At times I don’t eat the food she has for me she will scold me and tell always that I am shy on why I didn’t eat that. Through her kindness and warm hospitality I used to call her Mom while my son call her grandma. Because my real mother is overseas and every time my son needs to bring a grandparents to school I will give her a call and she will always willing to come. Her kindness and generosity will always lingers in my mind. More so missed her forever. Thanks a lot my Mom and my you Rest In Peace in the arms of our Lord. • I met Irene when she walked her dog Bailey. We became friends. My dogs name is Bailey also. When she had to put her Bailey down we would often stop by. She loved to get my Bailey going asking where his treats were. He knew exactly where she kept them. When we go by her house he wants to stop there, She was a very special friend. • My condolences to JIMMY and Gregory and family I grew up with JIMMY and Gregory Neighbourhood buddies in our younger day One quick pleasant memory I have of Mrs Mcghie is she had given my brother Ron dishes For his camper, in which in turn, Became mine for my camper, still to this day, those plates are my favourite.
