May 15, 1935 – August 8, 2020
Besides her husband of 63 years, she leaves behind her son Roger and daughter-in law Kathryn (Dopson) of Winnipeg; her daughter Louise Papadopoulos of Kenora; and her grandchildren, Jennifer, Jessica (Raven) and Nicolas Papadopoulos of Winnipeg.
She was born May 15, 1935 in St. Boniface and was predeceased by her father Jules Blomme in 1975; her mother Armande (nee Lachance) in 1981; and her brothers, Robert in 1969 and Albert in 1994. She received her schooling in St. Boniface and was employed at Canada Packers before her marriage in 1957.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the Cardiac Unit at the St. Boniface Hospital, as well as the Deer Lodge Hospital for their palliative care.
In accordance with her wishes, no formal service will be held. A private interment of cremated remains will take place at Green Acres Funeral Home and Cemetery, Winnipeg.
