DOUGLAS LLOYD HOLLIDAY
1947 – 2020

On Sunday, August 9, 2020, Douglas Holliday, loving husband and father, passed away at the age of 72.
Doug was born in Esterhazy, SK to loving parents, Harvey Lloyd and Dorothea Mathilda Holliday (nee Latourneau). He grew up with his two sisters, Bev and Earla. He had a long career with CN Rail as an engineer, among other roles. He enjoyed his time as a railroader and retired at age 55. Doug enjoyed golfing, travel, and spending time with his family, friends and grandchildren. He was known for his kind and compassionate spirit, and could always be counted on to be there for those in need. His caring and kind counsel, prayer and conversations will be greatly missed by his friends and family.
Doug was predeceased by his parents and sisters. He is survived by his loving wife, Julie Holliday, children, Kim (Garnell), Lesley (Dave) and Keith (Andreina), stepdaughters, Amy (Michael) and Kerri (Scott), and grandchildren, Lucas, Mackenzie, Joshua, Danika, Nicolas, Ella, Ethan and Charlotte.

The Lord is close to the broken-hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

We know we will see Doug again one day, in Heaven, where he is home with his Father.
Cremation has taken place. Funeral services to be announced at a later date.
