ERWIN HUEMMER
September 7, 1931 – August 10, 2020

It is with great sadness our family announces the passing of our beloved Father/Opa, Erwin Huemmer, on Monday, August 10, 2020 at the St. Norbert Personal Care Home. Erwin was born on September 7, 1931 in Trunstadt, Germany to Peter and Lilli Huemmer.
Erwin was predeceased by his wife, Hedwig Huemmer 13 years ago. He will be greatly missed by his three children, Roland (Kim) Huemmer, Ramona (John) Walczak and Christine (Todd) Irwin; his beloved grandchildren, Adrian and Jared Huemmer, Darek Walczak and Danika Irwin; sisters, Karola Poremski and Lora Lunz; as well as brother Adolf Huemmer.

This is where the road divides.
This is where we have to say good-bye.
After all that we have been through,
how I wish for more, than this to say to you. Here's to all the good times
we've ever known.
To the memories, yours and mine alone.
For the happiness you gave us,
no one will ever know.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
but you did not go alone.
For part of us went with you,
the day God called you home.

The family would like to thank the staff of St. Norbert Personal Care Home for the care and compassion given to Erwin.
A private funeral service will be held at a later date.
