Our condolences to Gloria and the family. Ernest lived at our place for a number of months after the passing of his father. We enjoyed having him around, and I have at times thought to myself that we should see if we could somehow reconnect....and it sounds like he was still a well liked person... Grampy was one of the best men I knew. He was such a good, honest, caring, hard-working man and I was proud to call him my neighbour. He will never be forgotten always remembered and sadly missed always. My heart goes out to his beloved and cherished family, much love to his wonderful wife Gloria of 49 years, his best friend! And lots of love, hugs and kisses to all his wonderful beautiful grandchildren here in Winnipeg and in Australia. Your father Grampy I called him for years was the grandpa of our block and I respected everything he said. My heart goes out to all of you.
