SANDRA (SANDI) MARTIN
Sandi will always be lovingly remembered by her two sons, Jason (Jocelyn) and Jamie (Joelle) who she was so incredibly proud of. Sandi will also be forever in the hearts of her two grandchildren, Hayden and Amelia who would always bring a huge smile to her face. Sandi is survived by her mother Stella, her sister Connie and brother Ken (Michelle) along with many nieces and nephews, and friends. Sandi was predeceased by her father Walter who she was so proud to call her dad.
Mom was known for her love of her boys, grandchildren and family. She had an incredible sense of humour and the room was always lit up with her presence. Her abilities to cook a meal were simply amazing and no one left her home without being very well fed, including any repairman which was fortunate to make the house call.
At the request of Sandi, a private family-only service will take place on Tuesday, September 1.
In lieu of flowers, those who would desire to make a memorial donation in memory of Sandi please do so to Hand of Hope - https://www.canadahelps.org/en/dn/33078

I am deeply saddened by the passing of my cousin Sandra. On behalf of Melody and myself, sincere and heartfelt condolences are extended to the immediate family. Trusting that you will all find peace and strength as you embark on a difficult journey of a healing process. Great memories are often captured and preserved in a time capsule. My first recollection of Sandi was when she was a little girl, sitting in a high chair and her Dad using a wooden spoon to curl her golden hair. As children, we all enjoyed playing with her when she briefly lived with us on Uncle Mike and Aunty Anne's farm. - Posted by: Ted Mikolayenko (Cousin) on: Sep 01, 2020

We are so saddened Jamie and Jason, to read of your Mother's passing. We had so many great times with Sandi and I know that I got through the Real Estate Exams successfully because of Sandi's wit and humor. We hope for all of you, peace will come early and your reflections of the wonderful woman she was, will bring a smile to your faces, and a warmth in your hearts. Rest in peace Sandi. - Posted by: Len and Vicki Lazaruk (long time friends) on: Aug 29, 2020

To Jason and Jamie and your families, it is very hard to say good bye to such a great lady. Sandi had such love and pride always for all of you. She truly cared for people. She was always giving to others when they were in need. I am very blessed to call her my friend, she had a great sense of humour and many times I had tears of laughter. Heaven has gained an angel. I will miss her very much. She will be watching over all of you with pride. Love Auntie Margaret - Posted by: Margaret Morton (Friend) on: Aug 29, 2020

Very sad to hear of Sandi’s passing. Jamie and Jason, my condolences go out to you and your families. I spent many a time at the Martin household growing up on Tomlinson. Sandi treated me just like one of the boys. It’s been many years since I last saw her, but I have fond memories. I know you will miss her dearly.
