JEFFREY ROBERT CORLEY
June 1, 1957 - August 18, 2020
Jeff is also survived by his son, Jeffrey Carnahan (Marika); grandchildren, Madison and Caipre; sisters, Donna Drake (Don), Carol Emerson, Kathleen Corley; and brother, Lawrence Corley. Sharing in our sorrow are brothers and sisters-in-law, Michelle and Rick Warawa, Sharon Demers and Rob Eekhoudt, David and Tracy Demers; parents-in-law, John and Marcelle Demers and Laurent Boily; and many nieces and nephews. Happy memories of Jeff will be shared by the Fort Rouge clan, with whom he was friends for over 50 years, the cue sports family from Canada and abroad, special friends, Bill Blunderfield, Alex Langford and Marion Kitz Langford, Ralph Schnell and Carol Badiou, and neighbours by whom he was known as "the guy who always cleans the boulevard".
Jeff was predeceased by his parents, George and Claire Corley; and brother, Bill Corley.
Twenty one years of work life was spent at Bristol Aerospace, where Jeff started in the Stores Department and worked his way up to Master Scheduler, during which time he received the CPIM designation. In 2007, Jeff pursued his dream of being self-employed, and began his own window defogging business. He enjoyed meeting and visiting with his customers, and his enthusiasm for improvement continued until the week before his passing. Over the years, Jeff had many interests, but none compared with his love for cue sports; from his early years in the pool halls, to his most recent foray into English Billiards at the legion. He was well regarded not only for his talent, but also for being a gentleman of the game.
Known for his humour and wit, Jeff will be remembered mostly for his generosity, thoughtfulness and willingness to help friends and strangers alike.
A big thank you to Dr. Paul and Dr. Bashir at CancerCare, Dr. Martin and the nurses of the palliative home care team, as well as Dr. Debroni, Dr. Braeden, the nurses and health care aides at Riverview.
Cremation has taken place, and a service to be announced at a later date.

As one of the aforementioned “Fort Rouge clan” I have known and remained friends with Jeff since the early grades at Fort Rouge School. Despite knowing that Jeff was going to die fairly soon he was so mentally strong that we were still able to share good times and laugh while visiting. He never showed any bitterness or expressing “why me”. Watching a loved one wither away is so hard but I’m glad that I was able to witness Jeff’s bravery and deep love always worrying about Claire and not himself. - Posted by: Lindsay Kolt (Friend) on: Oct 12, 2020

You and Jeff were wonderful neighbours! Even when we had a conflict we resolved them. I’m so thankful for that. I’m sure you will find Jeff’s absence painful. Just to let you know we think about you often. Our prayers are with you. Love Bernie and Irene - Posted by: Bernie and Irene Driedger (Former neighbors ) on: Sep 25, 2020
