Cremation has taken place and as per Don's wishes, there will be no formal service.
The family would like to thank Betel Home Foundation and Gimli Community Health Centre for Don's care.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson Society of Manitoba, 7-414 Westmount Dr., Winnipeg, MB R2J 1P2.

My most heartfelt condolences to Pat, Scott, Lucy & Sara, Todd, Sally & family. How very sad I am to learn of Don’s passing. Don was always a pleasure to know, a real gentleman, kind, considerate and always a pleasure to be around. This is about the time of year I’d run into Don & Scott most often, scouting for productive fields and field hunting for ducks & geese. I will now have very pleasing thoughts of him every time I see or hear a flock of ducks or geese this time of year.
